Château Cazeau

In the heart of the Entre-Deux-Mers, on the clay-limestone hillsides of the Sauveterre region, the Cazeau and Perey estates consist of three hundred hectares of vines divided across the communes of Gornac, Frontenac and Sauveterre de Guyenne.

The origins of the Domaine de Cazeau are ancient and can be traced back to the 16th century. However the Château Cazeau wine was first sold in 1986, after receiving its first gold medal. This was only the start of widespread recognition and a long list of accolades and awards consistently bestowed over the years. The average age of the vines on the Cazeau estate ranges from twenty to thirty-five years

The winery has sophisticated facilities and employs traditional production methods. Deliberate reduction of yields, careful selection of grapes, long macerations to extract the best tannins, and rigorous blending, all result in the production of superior wines of superb quality.
